Job Summary and key responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow Business and Income Production:
- Increase the volume of new sales business and contribute to the income production of the branch.
- Appraisal and Instruction of Properties:
- Conduct property appraisals and provide clear instructions for listing properties.
- Identify Business Opportunities:
- Recognise and refer other potential business opportunities to the appropriate divisions to maximise growth.
- Customer Care:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through accountable and effective customer service.
- You will be part of the Island Holiday Homes WhatsApp group to assist the out-of-office hours team with any issues they cannot resolve themselves.
- Meet and Exceed Targets:
- Achieve and surpass targets set for the lettings business.
- Holiday Queries Management:
- Register and manage new holiday-related queries, ensuring marketing boxes are ticked and all enquiries are entered into the database.
- Property Photography Assistance:
- In the absence of the manager, assist with property photo shoots and coordinate with photographers to set up properties for listing.
- Legal Compliance:
- Operate in full accordance with all legal obligations, ensuring compliance without exception.
- Knowledge of Properties:
- Stay up to date with the properties available within the branch to offer the best service to clients.
- Canvassing and Marketing Strategies:
- Implement effective canvassing techniques and marketing strategies to promote properties and the branch.
- Branch Development:
- Actively contribute to developing the core business in the branch, focusing on growth and customer acquisition.
- Team Management Support:
- Assist in managing the team, providing support when necessary.
- Reporting:
- Report weekly and end-of-month figures to the manager, especially when they are absent.
What are we looking for:
- Senior Sales Experience:
- Previous experience in a Senior Sales role with a proven track record of securing new business.
- Listing & Valuation Expertise:
- Solid experience with property listings and valuations. Sales Ability: Excellent sales skills with a strong ability to close deals.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- High level of customer service and the ability to maintain strong client relationships.
- Phone and Communication Skills:
- Excellent telephone manner, along with a positive and professional attitude.
- Negotiation Skills:
- Ability to negotiate successfully, ensuring the best outcomes for the branch and clients.
- Drive and Self-Starter:
- Tenacity and the drive to work independently and achieve success.
- Relationship Building:
- Ability to build and nurture trusted relationships at all organisational levels.
- Adaptability:
- Be responsive to change and adapt to evolving business needs.
