Job Summary and key responsibilities:
The Credit Controller provides vital support to the Rent Arrears team, focusing on administrative duties and assisting with credit control processes as required. The role involves direct communication with tenants, landlords, guarantors, and internal stakeholders via phone and email, ensuring smooth and effective debt recovery operations
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Rent Arrears team.
- Issue daily arrears notifications to relevant parties (tenants, landlords, and guarantors).
- Generate rent statements when requested.
- Assist in compiling reports as needed.
- Respond to tenant & landlord queries via phone and email, ensuring timely follow-ups.
Credit Control responsibilities:
- Pursue overdue debts and arrears through telephone, email, and letter within agreed timeframes.
- Handle and resolve customer queries efficiently.
- Conduct follow-ups with tenants and landlords according to the team’s process and chase cycle
Additional Responsibilities:
- Consistently operate within and demonstrate LRG company values.
- Provide support to other departments with ad-hoc credit control functions

- Good written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to negotiate best outcomes for all parties
- Good business acumen for problem solving & customer focus
- Highly numerical, analytical whilst focused on the detail, maintaining an appreciation of the bigger picture.
- Good level of IT related knowledge and associated Microsoft office packages
- Property related experience but not essential
